First Reconciliation (Confession) and First Holy Communion:
Offered usually during the child's second grade school year.
Religious Education, Grades K-8:
We strive to offer classes for the children seeking them each year. We will offer parental instruction, as well, to assist parents as the primary religious teachers for their children. Teachers and helpers are needed for this ministry. Classes are offered September through May. For more information contact the
RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults): This is a year-long process of guiding non-Catholics into full communion with our Catholic Church, going from late September through May. The RCIA team shares our faith with those moving into our faith. Meetings are on Wednesday evenings. Catholics wishing to renew their faith may join us, as well. For more information contact the
Newman Center/College Students:
Learn about opportunities for education and ministry for college students through the
Adult and Family Faith Formation
: Occasionally a parishioner will have expertise in something which might benefit the parish, e.g. you have a degree in Theology and might be willing to shepherd an Adult Education Group. We welcome that kind and other kinds of service to our parish.
We are always in need of volunteers for our Faith Formation Ministry and encourage you to participate. Several opportunities to volunteer include but are not limited to:
- Baptismal Prep Helper
- Marriage Prep Helper
- Catechumenate/RCIA team members
- Newman Advisory Board and Leadership Team Member
