ARK Saturday Work of Mercy: Praying for the Living

On Saturday, March 23rd, ARK will be joining 40 Days for Life for their closing event: an hour of prayer on the sidewalk outside the Lilith Clinic, an abortion clinic in downtown Portland. We will be praying from 10–11:30 a.m., including songs, a Rosary, and a blessing from Fr. Aaron to close the 40 days during which volunteers have held vigil in prayer for the lives of the unborn, mothers, families, and clinic staff.
As Catholics, the infinite value of each human person is fundamental to our faith. In prayer, we unite our wills to the will of God for each soul. If you have never participated in pro-life ministry before, we especially invite you to join us for this work of mercy!
As in other ARK works of mercy, we will begin with Mass at 8:30 a.m., followed by Pip’s Donuts (at around 9 a.m.), then heading to the Lilith Clinic to hear testimonies, sing, and pray together from 10–11:30 a.m. After our hour of prayer, Fr. Aaron will help us conclude our time together with a final blessing.
