Before the cancellation of events, Peter Kreeft was scheduled to come to St. Michael and OSU Newman Center in Corvallis, but for obvious reasons the events was cancelled. He will be coming in the form of a webinar. He will be presenting “The Problem of Evil” at our next Newman Lecture on April 22nd at 5 p.m. PST (8 p.m. EST). This lecture is hosted by OSU Newman but open to the public, especially students and college age young adults. Please feel free to invite as many people as you think could benefit from it. Participation at the conference is free of charge but registration is needed.*

About Dr. Kreeft:

Dr. Peter Kreeft is a professor of philosophy at Boston College and a noted Catholic apologist and philosopher. He is a convert to the Catholic Church from reformed Protestantism. He earned an A.B. degree from Calvin College, an M.A. and Ph.D. from Fordham University, followed by post-doctoral work at Yale University. He is a regular contributor to several Christian publications, is in wide demand as a speaker at conferences, and is the author of over 75 books on topics related to philosophy, ethics, theology, and culture. He has been the recipient of a number of fellowships including the Yale-Sterling Fellowship, the Woodrow Wilson Fellowship, the Danforth Asian Religions Fellowship, and the Newman Alumni Scholarship.
